All applications will be due on March 30, 2012.

Grantees notified of status of application by May 24, 2012.

 

Site visits and legal due diligence will occur between May 29 and June 22, 2012.

 

Awarded grantees can expect to receive funding by June 30, 2012. 

 

 

The Foundation recognizes that the last few years have represented a time of decreased donations and government funding for non-profits, coupled with increased need. As a result, a portion of the 2012 EHF grants budget is targeted for these one-time responsive grants in order to serve a broad and diverse number of organizations working in our seven counties.

 

EHF is targeting an investment of $452,000 in 2012.  In 2011, $712,990 of responsive grant funding was provided to organizations in our region for 60 different health-related efforts. 

 

Please note that beginning in 2012, grants awared through this program will be limited to a maximum of $15,000 each. In prior cycles, the maximum request was $25,000, however, due to limited funding and a desire to provide support to more organizations, the Foundation's board of directors decided to reduce the individual grant limit.
